Michael Detweiler

Michael has been a firefighter since 1975. He has held two officer positions over his many years of service, which included 20 years as assistant chief and 13 years as chief. His certifications include Firefighter 1 and Hazmat Operations. He currently works at the University of Iowa as a Cambus Bus Technician.  His interests include working on cars, watching basketball, participating in garden tractor pulls and spending time with his family. Mike's family includes his wife Nancy and two sons Nick and Dylan.
